On the morning of June 18, the "School-Local Cooperation Promotes Common Prosperity" event and "Jinhua Golden Seed Plan" Innovation Project Matchmaking Conference was successfully held at the Jinhua Industrial Innovation Research Institute.

To further connect with high-quality sci-tech innovation resources and accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in Jinhua, a delegation from the Jinhua Industrial Technology Research Institute recently visited FT Synergy Global Limited, Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, and Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen for research and exchange.

On June 11, the 2026 “Wushang Meeting Room” and “Jinkelong” Enterprise Sci-Tech Finance Matchmaking Event was successfully held at the headquarters of Jinhua Bank, building a coordinated platform for policy, finance and enterprises to address financing needs of sci-tech companies.

On June 1, Director Lou Xinming of the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Evaluation and Achievement Transformation Center visited the Jinhua Industrial Innovation Research Institute (JIIRI) for on-site research and symposium. Chen Ying, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Jinhua Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, and Luo Yang, Director of the Expert Committee of JIIRI, accompanied the visit.

Recently, in an interview, Director Liu Qing provided a detailed and in-depth explanation of the definition, operational logic, project selection criteria, and risk control of the "Grant-Investment Combined" mechanism explored and implemented by the Yangtze River Delta National Innovation Center.

To promote the deep integration of scientific and industrial innovation, foster high-quality development of S&T innovation platforms, and facilitate resource sharing, on May 22, 2026, Yang Jinghui, Director of the Wuyi Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Technology Research Institute, led a delegation to visit JIIRI for research and exchange. Tan Zhubing, Vice President of JIIRI, accompanied the reception.

On May 20, 2026, the inaugural meeting of the JIIRI Party Branch was successfully held. All party members of the Institute attended, with President Zhang Jiyong present. Zhao Hongliang, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, and Wang Zufu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, attended to provide guidance.

Recently, the first batch of 4 projects for achievement transformation implemented through the "Grant-Investment Combined" approach were collectively signed, accelerating more innovation achievements from "laboratory" to "market". Grant-Investment Combined means the Municipal Industrial Innovation Research Institute provides funding for project R&D, and when projects subsequently obtain market financing, the prior funds are converted into corresponding equity at market valuation, managed thereafter according to market-oriented approaches.

On May 13, Vice Mayor Zhang Xusheng visited JIIRI for inspection and research. Accompanying officials included Lyu Feng, Party Secretary and Director of the Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology; Fan Shi'en, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Municipal Government Office; Chen Ying, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Bureau of Science and Technology; Zhang Gaoqiang, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Finance Bureau; Xu Hongzhen, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the SASAC; Zhu Weifeng, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Jinhua Institute of Technology; and the leadership team of JIIRI.

To further accelerate the transformation of high-quality S&T achievements and boost the deep integration of "Two New" (new quality productive forces and new-type industrialization) in our city, recently, Cao Jin, Full-time Vice Chairperson of the Jiusan Society Municipal Committee, led a delegation to visit JIIRI for research and symposium. Tan Zhubing and Wang Linqiang, Vice Presidents of JIIRI, and other personnel attended the meeting.
